Horrible service!!! We sat for 15 minutes without any greeting and when our food finally came there was no silverware which took an additional 5 minutes to get. The order was wrong, the food was cold, and our waitress gave excuses why she put in the wrong order. I usually never make a big deal about semi-crappy service but this experience was THE WORST I mean THE WORST. Never eat here.

Worst Denny's I've ever been to. No management. The service was horrible. The food...well I wouldn't know because I never got my food; after 45 minutes the waiter comes to our table and asks us what we ordered??? Then comes back and says "sorry I was "distracted" and forgot to put your order in". Really?? There were only 3 other tables being served, and they all got there food in a timely manner. they weren't even busy. No manager even at least apologized or comped our drinks at least. Just a crappy first impression for a new Denny's in my neighbor. Will stick with IHOP !

Nasty! There was a roach crawling on the wall next to our booth and the manager had to climb on the bench and smash it! Food was disgusting!!

My family are here many times wile on vacation, a few of our favorite meals were the biscuits and gravy, the ultimate skillet and the t bone steak & eggs. There open 24 hours and they have great fast service! The manager was very nice and helpful with suggestions of what to do on our trip

If I could give no stars I would! I usually mind my own business and keep quiet but one thing I CANNOT stand is a f****** BULLY! I have been going to this Denny's (Miami Beach Location) religiously since I've moved to Miami, until now. I can assure you I WILL NOT BE BACK! I lost my appetite immediately after witnessing the manager and other employees bullying a server. A server that I have had many times, who always does a great job. Basically from my judgement, the server took his break when they were really busy, so I guess that gave the manager a reason to treat him like garbage. It was hard to watch. I felt the blood boiling under my skin and the tears about to fall because there was nothing I could do to help him. Absolutely ridiculous! I don't care who you are, Black, Gay, a Woman, a Foreigner, a Democrat, a Drug Addict, HIV positive, a Prostitute, a F****** gold fish!...Whatever! Every living thing deserves respect and to be treated as though they are worthy. It was dispicable the way they treated that man. I hope that son of a b**** manager sees this...I think you are disgusting and if that was my child I'd deck you! I'm going to pray to God that you get your karma!

Yes, I gave a Dennys a 5 star. Look, honestly, I don't even remember the last rating, but I know it was a good one. Like all the Dennys I've been to throughout my life, they've all messed up with me at some point. All the way from seeing the waitress totally ignore my table and actually continue her conversation with another co worker and to top it off, bringing us cold food, all the way to throwing up after eating one of their meals. Yep it's true. But for some reason, this Dennys hasn't messed up really. I had one small incident, but I chose to delete it. Tonight was another great thing. The server was cool, on point, and the food was amazing! I had the country fried chicken steak with gravy and 2 sides. Mashed potatoes and curvy steak fries. Everything came out perfect. The fries hot, crispy and fresh from the fryer. The chicken steak was bigger than expected with a really good gravy. Mashed potatoes were good. And to top it off, it came with garlic Texas toast type of bread. And a side of another gravy for the mashed potatoes. Like woowwww. It was really good. I had it all with a root beer. :P

A good old fashioned Denny's. On ever visit my experience has been great. The food has been delicious every time and the service is good too. Sometimes it's super crowded due to its location and sometimes it's nice an empty. It's clean and new and a must if your in the area :)

Vacationing in Miami and really fancied a burger and a shake, something simple. Came to Denny's for the first time and got exactly what I was looking for: The burgers and shakes were good, not a fan of the fries so I left them. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and friendly. Prices were surprising as it was just so CHEAP!!! 2 burgers with fries, 2 drinks, a desert and a milkshake for $27!!!! Bargin!!!

Would of given 4 stars but servers are slow. I have been to many Denny's and this one has the best food and is fairly cleaner. Pancakes where large and fluffy but my bacon was puny. Scrambled eggs where large in portion and tasty along with a big side order of grits that where just right. Iced tea was way too watered down but that's expected. Next time I'll stick with coffee.

Took forever to get our order when it came put my eggs were missing. Waiting another 10 minutes for the eggs which weren't cooked right. Waited and waited for them to fix it before I said I didn't want them anymore. Bacon was paper thin and so unappetizing I refused to eat it. And for some reason the waiter brought out toast which I didn't order and room 15 minutes for a glass of water which he forgot about and we had to remind him. Go to IHOP instead

I don't know why some people gave this place pretty poor reviews. This place was right next to my hotel during my stay at Miami so I knew I had to check it out. I came in with a group of 6. We sat down and were automatically given menus. They asked for our choice of drinks. I got Pepsi followed by a T bone steak with 2 sides. It took them around 20 minutes to make which wasn't that bad. During that time I inspected the place. I noticed that the tables were pretty much spotless. There was a nice breeze from the air conditioner which got cold at times. The bathroom was clean. The place itself wasn't packed and they had an open parking lot. Once my food was ready I couldn't help but dig in. My first bite was speechless. It was very delicious! The steak was done perfectly nice and was juicy. The fries were good but I tried better. I left with a full stomach and paid a decent price. I wouldn't mind checking it out if I were you.

This is the cleanest Dennys Ive ever been in. Im going to review in comparison to the ihop down the sgreet that I went to yesterday. Gail my waitress was so cheerful and full of life even after working all night. I am very very picky about my food (especially cheat meals) as Im a bodybuilder so I want it a specific way. I made three seperate meal orders (yes all for me) lol. I changed, added or subbed in something on every one of them. She was patiant and even helped me comb the menu to find the best combos to save money what I ordered. Pretty impressi e for someone that gets tipped on the amount of the check (most peoples view - I tip by the person)! The was what you expect from a chain but the cook worked with me on all my changes and made it even better! I will be back before I leave Miami!

We visited Dennys one morning after staying at the Thunderbird hotel for two nights immediately after our journey from the UK. I didn't realise but it was also Mothers Day over there and so my mum ended up having two (one in the UK and one in the States!) The server was really friendly and insisted I pay for mums breakfast seeing as it was Mothers Day! The restaurant is part of a massive chain and there are loads of Dennys in Florida. The menu is pretty much consistent and they offer the same choices whether in Orlando or Key West. We ordered an omelette which my mum checked was gluten/wheat free as she is a coeliac sufferer. They agreed and offered her extra potatoes as she couldn't have the toast with it. I ordered bacon, eggs, homestyle potatoes, toast and also a couple of pancakes. The food is hot, although pretty unremarkable. Price wise it is pretty good though. The bill came to around $25 with coffee, juice and extra toast. We usually return when in the area just for ease

I went here one late night after drinking with a couple of friends. Everyone knows that after some drinks you get hungry and make horrible eating decisions. Ours was Denny's that night. We got there and to our surprise they actually had an open bar inside this location. A Bar at Denny's!!!! There people in there eating and drinking. Somehow the combination of pancakes and shots of Patron might be interesting. Unfortunately I was more hungry that night than thirsty. Next time I am going to try and start off the night there and end it with some terrible health decisions. It is an all in one spot and a clever idea from someone at the Denny's HQ who likes to party. I almost forgot to actually review the place. Basically the service was spotty because every Denny's or Ihop I have ever been to seems like everyone hates their job and this place was no exception. Food came out good but took too much time with how un-busy it was. Would have given it two stars but the fact that they have a full bar gets it that extra star. Hell when I go to test the bar out it might get a few extra stars.

Their new coconut, pineapple non fat yogurt smoothie is delicious! I'm not much of a fan of smoothies but this one is a keeper. .. Maybe because it is a new location, but the staff is really friendly. The only thing that is horrible is the parking. It does not have their own parking. But since I tend to come late at night or in the morning I risk parking at the meters... they need their own parking

Food was very good, keeping up the Denny's tradition. BUT the service was HORRIBLE. The servers played around the whole time, never paid any attention to the customers. It looked like playtime in a park.

Brand new Denny's looked to be very nice and very clean and has wifi too ! But the wifi did not work and tables were dirty. It took forever to get our drinks and we were not offered refills until our meals were complete. I ordered an omelette with avocado, the avocado was so hard I could not even cut it, the toast was not brought out with my eggs even after I asked for it twice. But what should I expect, it is Denny's not a fine dining establishment. Will I go back? Probably only when I am so drunk I won't remember being there...

Came here for some grub with the fam at the request of my kids. What can I say about Denny's that hasn't already been said. You either love them or hate them. Food came out quick, not soaked in grease. Another patron saw us, and gave us an extra 20% off coupon they had. All in all, not a bad experience, didn't wait that long, food came out relatively quick, left satisfied.

Could do better. I usually enjoy breakfast at Denny's, their greasy American breakfast is just about right. This place is a bit run down and the air-conditioning is running crazy cold when it is the coldest day of the year. No wonder my eggs and bacon was cold. Turn up the heat, please. Service was fine, although slower than I'd prefer and things got a little mixed up. I'm thinking fourth time here will not be likely.

I had a really bad experience with a waitress here not too long ago which caused to become very upset with this particular Denny's. I was out with a friend so I decided to give this place another shot. I had the marvelous Richard as my waiter and he made me a Denny's fan once again. He was very attentive to our table and all of our needs were quickly addressed. We both ordered breakfast and we both loved our meal. Perhaps I came on the good shift or perhaps they got rid of that one bad apple at Denny's. Either way, I'm a fan once again thanks to Richard.

This was a good Denny's . A long wait to be seated but they did their best. It was very clean and the help friendly. We had breakfast. Nice area of town. This is a very touristy area so be prepared to wait! Enjoy!

You think that all Dennys have the same price, not this one. Prices are upper here.Customer service is horrible, awful. This place is disgusting I was waiting 20 minutes and the waitress not even understand me. This place is the worst Dennys I ever seen or imagine in my life.

To review a chain restaurant requires a different set of standards and thought process. Having said that, we gladly take the time to drive out of our way to this location than the closer Denny's right across the Julia Tuttle causeway onto Biscayne Blvd. When I am writing this review the location is still fairly new and the venue seems clean and fresh. The staff for the most part ( big reason we go here ) is very nice and helpful and accommodating. If possible ask for "Michael" a tall skinny fellow who will treat you right. Lastly, I am adding a photo of the Apple Crisp we had because it actually looked as good if not better than the picture on the menu! Have a great meal and enjoy!

This is a small size Denny's compared to other locations I've been to. You will have to pay for street meter parking which can range from $1 to $1.75 per hour depending on time of day. I came on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and it wasn't that busy but it did have a few patrons dining in. Our waitress was friendly but the kitchen service was mega slow, especially since it was not busy at all. I had a late breakfast and it took nearly 35 minutes from the time I order until it finally arrived at my table. Seriously, why so long for pancakes and eggs? The location also has outdoor tables to dine outside if you're interested in absorbing more of Miami's crazy hot sunny weather. This location is also conveniently located right across the beach.

Awesome! It's amazing what a chain restaurant can do with proper management . Mark this time and date. She's good. Sometimes the staff just needs a leader. Thank you for my ham cheese and egg with home fries tea and fluffy butter for my toast....

Awful!!!!! The food was surprisingly bad/uncooked. We ordered breakfast... To start the eggs were uncooked, the hash browns had to be changed because they were uncooked. However when the waitress came back she brought 2 orders one burned and the other partially cooked. Also the bathroom was disgusting....This is by far the worst Denny's I have been. I complained to the manager about the bathroom and the zero cleanliness but she disagree and blamed on the customers. Lots of employees but no one cleaning or taking care of the tables.

Denny's seems to get negative reviews in the press and online. I haven't been to one in years so I decided to take my daughter to the one in Sunny Isles for breakfast. We got seated very quickly and had a very nice and attentive waitress that was handling a lot of tables. I ordered a skillet and my daughter ordered an omelets. Our food came out cooked perfectly. One lesson I try and teach people when going to places that are this inexpensive is that these servers work themselves very hard and make a fraction of the money people at high-end restaurants make; who tend to work a fraction of how much Denny's and other breakfast restaurants work. I'll be back and I will make sure I tip well for good service.

I've had very little issues at this Denny's. The food is pretty consistent and the restaurant is always clean. There is outdoor seating and plenty of comfortable seating indoors as well.

Shakes are delicous, however the food is given cold and very little hash browns and raw. Need staff to be trained on how to service the food better .

Enjoy!

  • We visited Dennys one morning after staying at the Thunderbird hotel for two nights immediately after our journey from the UK.

My family are here many times wile on vacation, a few of our favorite meals were the biscuits and gravy, the ultimate skillet and the t bone steak & eggs. There open 24 hours and they have great fast service! The manager was very nice and helpful with suggestions of what to do on our trip

Nasty! There was a roach crawling on the wall next to our booth and the manager had to climb on the bench and smash it! Food was disgusting!!

You think that all Dennys have the same price, not this one. Prices are upper here.Customer service is horrible, awful. This place is disgusting I was waiting 20 minutes and the waitress not even understand me. This place is the worst Dennys I ever seen or imagine in my life.
